Another Great Fall Fishing Rodeo...
First, many thanks to those who made this event possible. Glen Koch, Rodeo Chairmen: Jay Hotard who got the trophies, Joe Wiemers for sponsoring the Trout Calcutta, Chefs Mike, Mikie and Joseph Marsiglia for frying the fish and our caretaker Beth with the help of Valerie and David for setting and cleaning up. We very much appreciate all the work done by those above.
Fish were caught both mostly in and around American Bay and under the birds Catches included nice reds, trout both speckled and some white.
The weather was wonderful! The temperature was a little warm and skies mostly clear, very little wind on Saturday. There was also a good tide range.
The Creole Shrimp Dinner on Friday was enjoyed by all.The buffet on Saturday included fried catfish, white beans, slaw and desert. No one left hungry.
A good time had by all...........
