SUBURBAN GUN & ROD CLUB
HOUSE RULES

GENERAL: These rules are promulgated to insure that the Suburban Gun and Rod Club will always exist as a congenial, comfortable and uniform operating Sports Club facility. To insure this continuity it is incumbent on each and every member (as well as their guests) to exercise due consideration, compassion and courtesy for the comfort, safety and property of the other members. The Surburban Club does not tolerate offensive language or racial slurs.  Ungentlemanly, hostile or inconsiderate behavior by any member may subject such member to either a fine, suspension or expulsion from the Club at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

CARETAKER: The duties of the Caretakers are to serve the Club and the entire membership as directed through the Board of Directors or a specifically appointed committee. THEY ARE NOT PERSONAL SERVANTS. They will cooperate with a member's reasonable request that does not interfere with their duties to the Club. When such a request is made a gratuity is suggested. The Caretaker’s premises are off limits to members and member guests.

ANY ISSUES RELATING TO THE CARETAKERS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE BOARD NOT TO THE CARETAKERS.

PAYMENT: Every member will discharge his (and his guest's) indebtedness to the Caretaker, IN CASH or by Check, before departing the Club. Detailed expense slips are available near the Bulletin Board.

REGISTER: The register is a record of members and guests who visit the Club for any purpose. Names must be entered either upon arrival of the member or by arrangement with the Caretaker or another member prior to arrival. A separate register sheet must be signed for each 24-hour or overnight visit.

GUESTS: All guests shall be accompanied by a host member. On Friday nights only two (2) guests per member will be permitted, provided sufficient Club House accommodations have been verified by a call to the Caretaker. On other nights, except SUNDAY and MONDAY the member shall request, from the President or a Board Member, the privilege of inviting more than two (2) guests. After such permission the member shall request of the Caretaker, before 10:00 A.M. of the day the Club House will be used, if his group can be served. Host members are responsible for the conduct and payment of all indebtedness of their guests.

GUEST FEE: A Guest fee of $10 (or as posted by the Board) per non-member guest for each 24-hour or overnight visit shall be paid by the host member to the Caretaker for the Club Treasury.

MEALS: Members shall notify the Caretaker not later than 10 A.M. of the day the member desires meals to be served.
