PEARCE Ele Waylan Pearce passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Canon Hospice. He was the son of the late Fannie Bacon Pearce and John Pearce. Brother of the late Elizabeth Pearce and Jay B. Pearce. He was survived by his daughter Patricia Pearce Otero (husband Antonio) and also 3 Grandchildren, Elizabeth Whitaker (husband James), David and Michael Otero and 2 Great-Grandchildren, Mallory & Olivia Whitaker. Age 91 and a resident of Metairie. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, the Royal Order of the Jesters and the Suburban Rod & Gun Club. A Masonic Service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 7:00 pm from Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie. Visitation from 5:00 until 9:00 PM.
